Background

Metro Commercial was formed during the 2008 financial crisis. It was the dawn of Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) becoming a legal requirement for property transactions in the UK and the European Union. With a clear vision and determination, Metro Commercial Ltd began trading, offering energy certification services for both commercial and residential property.

Amidst economic uncertainty, Metro Commercial quietly embarked on its mission. The company gradually gained traction by providing essential energy certification services to property owners.

Metro Commercial has traded steadily since 2008, gaining recognition as a trustworthy name in the industry.

We have adapted to changing energy standards, assisting property owners in meeting their regulatory requirements and hopefully reducing energy spend and emissions along the way.

Location and geographical area

Our operational reach extends across Scotland and the wider UK, encompassing many projects. We've been involved in property ranging from the northernmost tip of Shetland in Scotland to the southern city of Peterborough in England. Our geographical base location in Glasgow City gives us excellent access to Scotland's major cities and its smaller towns and rural communities.
