Metro Commercial Ltd knows the importance of conducting our business environmentally, responsibly, and sustainably. We recognise our operations' impact on the environment, and we are investigating and taking steps to reduce our carbon footprint and contribute positively to environmental conservation.

Sustainable Practices

Energy Efficiency: Implement energy-saving measures in our office and use energy-efficient equipment and vehicles to reduce emissions.

Waste Reduction: Minimise waste production through efficient resource management, promoting recycling and reuse of materials wherever possible.

Sustainable Travel: Encourage public transport, cycling, and walking for our employees to reduce travel-related emissions. For necessary travel, we are investigating low and non-emission vehicles.

Environmental Awareness: We train our staff to know their environmental responsibilities in the office and when conducting survey work.

SME Climate Commitment

Metro Commercial Ltd is exploring the commitment to the SME Climate Pledge, reflecting our interest in environmental responsibility and sustainability. While we have not formally committed to the pledge, we intend to align our work practices with its goals — to halve our emissions by 2030, reach net zero by 2050, and disclose our progress annually. This investigative phase involves assessing our current operations, identifying areas for improvement, and planning actionable steps towards these ambitious objectives, underscoring our commitment to a sustainable future.

Our environmental policy will be reviewed annually to reflect changes in legislation, industry best practices, and the latest environmental management techniques. We are committed to continuous improvement in our environmental performance and adapting our practices to better protect the environment.

We intend to update this policy regularly, no less than annually.
