A Plate Heat Exchanger is an efficient way of heating cold water usually for DHW. The water is heated by transferring heat between two circuits.The plate heat exchanger is usually a collection of parallel thin plates to create a far greater surface area and so transferring the heat far more efficiently. Plate Heat Exhangers are often found in sports centres.
