About Us

Metro Commercial Ltd is a Scottish based property services and consultancy firm operating in the UK, formed in 2007. We are a firm of Chartered Surveyors providing commercial property services and are Regulated by RICS.

A key service is providing EPC services and consultancy advice to owners of commercial property.

Our Clients

Our clients include tenants, owners of single holdings, property companies and government organisations.

We provide EPC services for all types of non-domestic buildings. Building types include multi and single let offices, industrial distribution and production facilities, high street retail, shopping centres, leisure including public house and restaurant property and also EPCs for public buildings.

By maintaining a flexible approach we provide services and advice on a variety of project sizes whether it be a small high street shop, a complicated multi-level public building or a portfolio of properties with a wide geographical spread.

Through Metro Residential Property Services, we provide domestic (residential) EPCs for private investors, developers and professionals.

Our Location

Our key focus area within Scotland is the central belt between Glasgow and surrounds along the M8 corridor to Edinburgh and surrounds. In reality we undertake work throughout Scotland and being based in Glasgow allows good access not only to Scotland’s main cities but also to smaller towns and villages.

Our Interests

In addition to providing advice to meet legislative requirements we provide advice to enhance the market value of our client’s assets.

We are interested in how the rental and investment market is integrated and how it will develop over time. Sustainability issues are fast becoming a key area in adding value to an asset and with evolving European energy and environmental legislation it will become even more important to ensure existing buildings are improved as effectively as they can.

Sustainable property investment used to be seen as a luxury however with tightening legislation driven by environmental pressures sustainable property investment is becoming mainstream.

We provide direct property services and advice to our clients in order to enhance asset value.

Metro Commercial Ltd is a member of the Surveyors Omsbudsman Services. Now operating as Ombudsman Services: Property, this independent organisation was set up to sort out complaints about chartered surveying firms, surveyors, estate agents, residential managing agents and other property professionals from consumers using their services.

Ombusdman Services: Property are approved by the Office of Fair Trading (OFT) as an estate agent redress scheme.
